Accommodations (room and tax fees only) for all PEER Participants (faculty, students, BIPs, and other project personnel) will be paid for Thursday and Friday nights (April 28 & 29) directly by PEER Headquarters.
For people interested in staying over on Saturday night April 30th, the guest room rate is $99/night . If you are involved in the closed meetings late Saturday afternoon PEER will also cover the room and tax fees for Saturday; otherwise each guest will be responsible for their lodging costs for Saturday night and beyond.
Please Note: due to budgetary constraints, we will be assigning two students of the same gender to each guest room. If two students would like to be paired together, they may indicate so on the registration form. Students wishing to have a guest room to themselves will be asked to pay for 50% of the room and tax costs, which will be roughly $50-60/night. Also note that all attendees will be responsible for their own incidental expenses charged to their rooms; PEER will only pay room and tax fees. Upon check-in, you will be asked to provide a credit card to cover any incidental expenses (telephone, room service, and movie or other charges) you may incur, but your room and tax charges will be billed to PEER.
All guest room reservations at the Walnut Creek Marriott for PEER Annual Meeting attendees should be made with PEER using this registration form.
Cancellation Policy: The resort will accept individual cancellations up to 48 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations should be made to the PEER Outreach Office by calling 510-231-9554 or email peer_ctr@peer.berkeley.edu. Please make any cancellations at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying the first night's room and tax charges.
