Program

As in Year 7, the annual meeting is geared primarily towards working sessions to engage the researchers and industry partners in discussions about research accomplishments, needs, and plans. Day 1 (Friday) will be spent in plenary sessions to examine ways in which PEER's research is impacting earthquake engineering practice and seismic hazard mitigation. Friday will conclude with a student poster session, reception and group dinner for all participants. Day 2 (Saturday) will be spent in smaller working groups, organized around thrust area and cross cutting topics, which will feature selected presentations from student and faculty researchers on current projects and outstanding needs and opportunities.

This program is tentative and subject to change.
