This task will examine the near-fault directivity effects and add these effects to the NGA models. One of the discrepancies between NGA models and simulated ground motions is that NGA models do not account for directivity effects while simulations do. Completion of this topic will allow directivity effects to be included in the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis and loss estimates that utilize the NGA-West 2 models.
