1. Hybrid simulation system
In addition to many existing actuators, the nees@berkeley Laboratory provides seven new static and dynamic actuators.
The controllers provided perform near real time digital control of the hydraulic system for the pseudo-dynamic testing.
The data acquisition system was upgraded in 2005 from 128 to 192 channels plus 16 channels of analog input. The system additionally runs a scramnet shared memory making all channels available to the control system at the rate of 1 khz. For general purposes the system uses 80 hz anti aliasing filters and scans at 200 samples/second. The maximum sustainable through put of the system however is 800 khz. Thus it is possible to scan all 192 channels up to 4,000 samples/sec.
