Accommodations (room and tax fees only) for all PEER Participants (faculty, students, BIPs, and other project personnel) will be paid for Thursday and Friday nights (February 19 & 20) directly by PEER Headquarters. Please note that all attendees will be responsible for their own incidental expenses charged to their rooms; PEER will only pay room and tax fees. Upon check-in, you will be asked to provide a credit card to cover any incidental expenses (telephone, room service, and movie or other charges) you may incur, but your room and tax charges will be billed to PEER.

For people interested in staying over on Saturday night February 21, the guest room rate is $129/night (once you include resort fees and tax, this comes out to $153.73). If you are involved in the closed meetings late Saturday afternoon PEER will also cover the room and tax fees for Saturday; otherwise each guest will be responsible for their lodging costs for Saturday night and beyond.

Please Note: due to budgetary constraints, we will have to assign two students, of the same gender, to each guest room. If 2 students would like to be paired together, they may indicate so on the registration form. Students wishing to have a guest room to themselves will be asked to pay for 50% of the room and tax costs, which will be roughly $76.22/night.

The PEER Outreach Office will handle all lodging requests for the event. Once the registration page is available, we ask that you sign-up for the meeting to let us know what nights you need lodging. We will then submit a master rooming list to the hotel, so it is important that you let us know when you will be in Palm Springs.

Cancellation Policy: The resort will accept individual cancellations up to 48 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations should be made to the PEER Outreach Office ( or 510-231-5698), and must be done at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying the first night's room and tax charges.
