SSA Seeks New Executive Director

The Seismological Society of America (SSA), established in 1906 and headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area, is seeking a new Executive Director, as the current Executive Director is planning to retire.

The Society’s core purpose is to advance seismology and the understanding of earthquakes for the benefit of society.  Now with 3,000 members worldwide, SSA publishes two prominent journals, and convenes an annual meeting of more than 500 scientists, among other activities.
