The Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering invites applications for a fixed-term (2 years) Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Earthquake Engineering at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
The successful candidate will undertake research and teaching related activities in structural/earthquake engineering including behavior and design of non-structural elements; evaluation and mitigation of contents damage in buildings during earthquakes; and seismic risk assessment and loss estimation of structures.
Applicants should have completed a PhD in a relevant area, but applications from those nearing completion of a PhD will also be considered.
