Scott Ashford, PEER researcher and Assistant Director for Education Programs from 2002-2007, was appointed as Dean of Oregon State University’s College of Engineering on February 14, 2014.

Ashford championed the 2012 addition of Oregon State University (OSU) as a PEER Core Institution and represents the university on PEER’s Institutional Board. He joined Oregon State’s engineering faculty in 2007 as head of the School of Civil and Construction Engineering and is the Kearney Professor of Engineering. He is an alumnus of OSU, and earned his Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley.
