Registration for the 2013 Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Council Annual Conference is open! The conference will be held May 3, 2013, at the Fifth Floor Conference Facilities in the Federal Reserve Bank of Los Angeles located at 950 South Grand Avenue at Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA.

The 2013 LATBSDC conference will cover a variety of topics related to recent advances in structural design of tall and special buildings. Distinguished speakers will present topics ranging from the new earthquake ground motions for design to showcasing new tall building projects under development for Los Angeles; new techniques for design of tall buildings; foundation design for tall buildings; new code provisions, and building on or near faults. In addition an update will be provided on LATBSDC efforts to develop reliability based alternative procedure for seismic retrofit of tall buildings.

Register by April 19, and pay a registration fee of $250. After April 19, the fee will increase by $50. The registration fee for students is $40, but space is limited to 30 student participants.
