New PEER Report Published: PEER 2012/01 “Spectral Damping Scaling Factors for Shallow Crustal Earthquakes in Active Tectonic Regions”

PEER has just published Report No. 2012/01 titled “Spectral Damping Scaling Factors for Shallow Crustal Earthquakes in Active Tectonic Regions” as a new addition to the PEER Report Series. It was authored by Sanaz Rezaeian of the US Geological Survey, Yousef Bozorgnia of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center at UC Berkeley, I.M. Idriss of the University of California Davis, Kenneth Campbell of EQECAT, Inc., Norman Abrahamson of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, and Walter Silva of Pacific Engineering and Analysis. The research and report were sponsored PEER’s NGA-West2 Program.
