PEER has just published Report No. 2011/07 titled “Seismic Risk Management in Urban Areas” as a new addition to the PEER Report Series. It contains the proceedings of a U.S.-Iran-Turkey Seismic Workshop on December 14-16, 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The workshop was supported by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences in collaboration with the Bogazici University−Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute, Turkey; Sharif University of Technology, Iran; and the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center, University of California Berkeley, USA.
