Call for Nominations for the 2009 SP Prize For Excellence in the Practice of Geotechnical Engineering
SHAMSHER PRAKASH FOUNDATION invites nominations , worldwide, for the above Prize,for young Engineers/scientists, 45 years or younger. The award consists of cash prize of US $ 1100, and a plaque. The last date of nominations is September 30, 2009.
2008 Prize was won by Sanjeev Kumar, ( USA ). He has been cited for his strong and ongoing commitment to teaching the practice of geotechnical engineering to undergraduate students, and efforts in making a smooth and meaningful transition of young engineers from students to practitioners.
