Jennings steps down, Kutter elected as new Chair of PEER Institutional Board
Paul Jennings, Caltech Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics, has just stepped down from his 11 year post as the Chair of PEER's Institutional Board. Jennings' vast expertise in earthquake engineering has been instrumental in the development of PEER from its inception in 1997 through the present day. PEER wholeheartedly thanks Professor Jennings for his outstanding service and dedication to PEER.
Bruce Kutter, Professor of Geotechnical Engineering in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at UC Davis, has been elected by the Institutional Board as Professor Jennings' successor in the role of Institutional Board Chair. Congratulations Professor Kutter!
