The Annual Meeting technical program and hotel rooming arrangements have been made at the same venue, the Hotel Shattuck Plaza at 2086 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA 94704. The Hotel Shattuck Plaza, is at the west side of the UC Berkeley Campus, in downtown Berkeley at the corner of Shattuck Ave and Allston Way, within steps of the downtown Berkeley BART station. This convenient all-in-one location should make it an easy meeting to attend for those traveling from far distances by airplane, and those traveling from within the Bay Area.

The Hotel Shattuck Plaza has reserved a block of rooms for attendees of the PEER Annual Meeting at a special rate of $149.00 per night plus tax.

Accommodations (room and taxes only) for PEER students accepted into the poster session will be paid by PEER for the nights of Wednesday September 29, Thursday September 30, and Friday October 1. PEER will make the reservation on behalf of the students and directly pay the hotel at the completion their stay. As is customary from previous PEER Annual Meetings, students will be required to share room. All attendees are responsible for their own incidental room charges such as telephone, room service, movies or other miscellaneous items. Upon check-in, you will be asked to provide a credit card to cover these incidental expenses.

The hotel is located in the downtown Berkeley so it is easily accessible to both the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the Oakland International Airport (OAK) via BART (subway trains) which stops within one block of the hotel at the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. For attendees who drive, there is a parking garage across the street (PCI Parking at 2061 Allston Way) that charges a daily rate of $2.50 per hour with a maximum of $14.00 per day plus a minimum additional overnight charge $5 per night. There is also parking available at the Standard Parking lot at 2020 Kittredge Street.
