The PEER Center, headquartered at UC Berkeley, hosted the fist global communication with the participants of the Global GMPEs project. The meeting was made accessible via Web-Conference application and 25 researchers worldwide attended it. The meeting aimed at introducing the project as part of GEM Global Hazard Component, presenting the international Consortium members, describing the planned activities, briefly discussing strategy to accomplish the various Tasks, and showing the features of the dedicated project web-site.
