On Thursday September 29th, PEER will be hosting an all day Young Researcher Session (YRS) for 30 graduate students from PEER’s Core Institutions, Tongji University in China, and the Center of Urban Earthquake Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. The full day event will include both oral and poster presentations by the students, a tour of the facilities of seismic isolator manufacturer Earthquake Protection Systems, Inc. (EPS), and a networking dinner for all graduate student participants.
